1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to City Connect LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including our websites, events, and related offerings (collectively, “Services”).
By attending or registering for any City Connect event, using our website, or participating in our programs, communications, group chats, or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Services Offered
City Connect LLC organizes:

Physical and digital community group engagement, group communications, and group facilitations through various means and platforms
-
Social gatherings and networking events (primarily for young adults (20s and 30s))
-
Singles mixers and relationship-focused events
-
Free and paid recreational and sports leagues or tournaments
3. Eligibility
City Connect LLC offers a variety of events open to the general public. However, participation in specific event categories is subject to age-based eligibility as required by law and our internal safety and programming guidelines:

General Community Events: Open to individuals of all ages, unless otherwise noted.

Singles Events: Intended for adults typically between the ages of 20 and 39. Participants must be at least 18 years old and may be required to verify age upon entry.

Paid Sports Tournaments and Leagues: Participants must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise specified. Some events may allow minors with prior parental or guardian consent and signed liability waivers.

Events Serving Alcohol: You must be at least 21 years old to attend events where alcohol is served, in accordance with Tennessee state law. Valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry.
We reserve the right to deny access or remove participants who misrepresent their age or violate these eligibility requirements. Participation in age-restricted events constitutes your certification that you meet the necessary age criteria.
4. Payments & Refunds
Some events require advance registration and payment. All payments are final unless otherwise stated.

5. Event Conduct
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all participants, attendees of any City Connect LLC event are required to comply with the following conduct standards:
A. General Code of Conduct
By participating in any City Connect event, you agree to:

Treat all attendees, volunteers, staff, and vendors with courtesy, dignity, and respect.

Abide by event rules, posted signage, and instructions from event staff or organizers.
-
Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or inappropriate behavior, whether verbal, physical, or digital.

Avoid disruptive conduct including intoxication, disorderly behavior, destruction of property, or unreasonably loud or aggressive behavior.
B. Singles Events Code of Behavior
City Connect hosts inclusive and respectful singles-oriented events. To protect attendees, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

Unwanted sexual advances, comments, or gestures.

Repeated attempts at contact after a clear refusal.
-
Stalking, coercion, or manipulative behavior.
-
Taking photos or videos of others without their express consent.
Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the event and a permanent ban from future events, with no refund or credit.
C. Sportsmanship Policy (Sports Leagues & Tournaments)
Participants in sports-related events must:

Compete fairly, follow all rules of the game, and respect referees and opponents.

Avoid any form of physical violence, verbal abuse, or retaliatory conduct.

Accept referee decisions as final and refrain from arguing or escalating disputes.

Not participate while under the influence of drugs or alcohol (unless otherwise permitted for social leagues and with moderation).
City Connect reserves the right to eject any individual for poor sportsmanship or safety violations, including entire teams if necessary.
D. Alcohol Consumption
At events where alcohol is served:

You must be 21+ and present valid government-issued photo ID.

You are expected to drink responsibly.
-
Excessive intoxication, unsafe behavior, or refusal to comply with staff directions may result in denial of entry or removal from the event without refund.
E. Personal Responsibility & Liability

You are responsible for your own actions and belongings at all events.

City Connect LLC is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property during event participation.

Participation in physical activities is voluntary and at your own risk.
F. Enforcement and Reporting
City Connect has zero tolerance for violations of this policy. We reserve the right to:

Remove any participant who poses a threat to safety, well-being, or the spirit of the event.
-
Ban repeat offenders or egregious violators from future events.
-
Involve law enforcement if necessary.

6. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
By registering for, attending, or participating in any City Connect LLC event, including but not limited to recreational leagues, tournaments, games, or fitness-related activities, and events involving physical activity, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
A. Voluntary Participation and Assumption of Risk
You understand and accept that participation in physical activities, whether competitive or recreational, inherently involves risks of injury, illness, emotional distress, or even death, and may also result in damage or loss to personal property. These risks may arise from your own actions, the actions of others, environmental conditions, equipment use, or other unforeseen circumstances.
You voluntarily assume all such risks, known or unknown, and participate at your own discretion.
B. Medical Clearance and Responsibility
You affirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in such activities and that you have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. It is your responsibility to consult a physician if you have any health concerns or conditions that may affect your ability to safely participate.
C. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless City Connect LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, event partners, venue operators, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with:

Personal injury

Emotional distress
-
Illness (including but not limited to exposure to infectious diseases)
-
Death
-
Loss or damage to personal property
-
Any other harm or consequence related to your participation
This release applies even if the alleged harm or loss was caused, in whole or in part, by the negligence of City Connect LLC or any of the Released Parties.
City Connect LLC affirms that it exercises reasonable care and diligence to promote a safe environment for all participants. This includes but is not limited to:

Pre-event risk assessments

Safety protocols and equipment guidelines
-
Staff and facilitator training
-
Emergency response planning
-
Venue suitability evaluations
-
Encouragement of voluntary injury disclosures
However, by participating in City Connect sporting events, you acknowledge that no amount of preparation or oversight can eliminate all risks associated with physical activity. You voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, and accept full personal responsibility for your participation.
D. Emergency Medical Care
You authorize City Connect LLC staff and event personnel to secure and, if necessary, administer emergency medical care at your expense in the event of injury or illness.
E. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless City Connect LLC from any third-party claims arising out of your actions or failure to follow event rules and safety instructions.
7. Media Release
By attending, you grant City Connect the right to use photographs, video, and audio recordings from events for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to the event.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, City Connect LLC and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, vendors, event partners, and representatives (collectively, the “Company Parties”) shall not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

Personal injury, illness, or death

Emotional distress
-
Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
-
Damage to personal property
-
Reputational harm
-
Any other intangible or financial loss
arising out of or related to your use of our services or participation in any event, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
A. Events and Activities Disclaimer
City Connect LLC organizes a range of in-person and physical events, including but not limited to social mixers, sporting tournaments, outdoor gatherings, and activities that may involve unpredictable group behavior, environmental factors, and voluntary physical exertion. While we strive to maintain a safe and inclusive environment, you acknowledge that participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.
B. Third-Party Services and Venues
City Connect LLC frequently partners with or utilizes third-party platforms, venues, and vendors (e.g., for ticketing, food service, alcohol distribution, or facilities). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, policies, or conditions of any third party. You agree that any claims arising from third-party conduct must be pursued directly with those entities.
C. Maximum Liability
In no event shall City Connect LLC’s total liability to you for all claims related to the services or events exceed the greater of:

The total amount paid by you to City Connect LLC in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or
-
One hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Modifications to Terms and Services
City Connect LLC reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms of Service and any related policies (such as our Privacy Policy) at any time, in our sole discretion. When changes are made, we will:

Post the updated version to our official website; and
-
Update the "Effective Date" at the top of the document.
You are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. Your continued use of our Services—including event registration, attendance, or engagement through our website—after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated agreement.
If you do not agree with any future modifications, you must discontinue all use of City Connect LLC’s services and events.
10. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms of Service, your relationship with City Connect LLC, and any disputes or claims arising from or related to the use of our Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal action, arbitration, or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in Williamson County, Tennessee, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
